UPLIFTING EXCHANGE

UPLIFTING EXCHANGE

SENSES - by Kerima Musafer

God's blessed me with eyes
so I could clearly see
My nose..that I should not poke
Into affairs of others but just
mind my own business
A tongue...that will all ills revoke
Ears..to be a good listener
Deaf to other's faults
He's blessed me with hands
to lift up and praise him
For my brain that issues commands
For the prudent use of my senses
My, Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Nose and Hands

"Think twice before you utter
Words that cause another pain,
Words once uttered really matter
As they cannot be taken back again."
