Covid is here,
So is Quarantine Curfew;
We stay indoors.
Wear Masks.
Keep our distances;
The sun is out today,
its a bright morning;
I walk out to grab
a little ultraviolet
to complement my supplements;
The trees stand tall
all around me
as if to say "hello, are you alright today?"
I gaze up and wonder
the sky is blue
the leaves are green
the wind whistles through;
Maybe, I should have been
a tree.
